For Nonprofit Child Care Centers:
- Help people with low- and moderate-incomes (per the Federal Poverty Guidelines
set by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services).
- Have long-term community benefit and social impact.
- Have a demonstrated source of income to repay the loan.
- Demonstrate community support.
- Attract other resources to the effort.
For Family-based Providers:

For Nonprofit Child Care Centers:
- If the project is appropriate for consideration, the
next step is to submit a letter of request.
- The request is reviewed by staff members and/or the
Loan Fund Loan Review Committee.
- Once a decision has been made, a staff member will contact you with the decision and any conditions.
For Family-based Providers:
For home-based child care, contact staff at MicroCredit-NH about obtaining a microbusiness child care loan at 800-769-3482.
